Started in 2018, the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy objective is to detect young
& future talents, and to create a bridge between karting and single-seater, for the
future stars of the next generation.

About Us

Richard MILLE, owner of the prestigious eponym watch brand, is a true sport enthusiast and supports many famous racing drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, Alain Prost, Sébastien Ogier, but also other athletes such as Rafael Nadal (Tennis), Bubba Watson (golf), Ester Ledecka (Ski) to name only a few.

Being truly passionate by racing, Richard Mille has created the Richard Mille Young talent academy in 2018 to support young and talented driver to chase their dreams. Visionary, Richard Mille was the first to set an all-female Driver Line Up in the top European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and the creation of the Richard Mille Racing team racing in the LMP2 class.

Since 2003, All Road Management has been scouting and developing talents with one crystal clear aim, reach the pinnacle in motorsport: Formula One

The expertise and experience of Nicolas Todt and his team provide the best environment for the drivers so they can focus on what matters most: racing.

All Road Management is present at all levels of motorsport, from karting to F1 through the different single-seater formulas, GT, Endurance as well as recent categories such as Formula E.

How it works

The concept

The concept is very fair and easy: the selection, 100% free of charge, is open to all karting drivers, male or female, born between January 1st, 2007 and April 1st, 2010, having a minimum of experience in the European and International racing series (FIA-CIK OK, KZ, Rotax Max, IAME, …).
The candidate should be also free of any management program.
Should you recognize yourself in these criteria and have the motivation to perform in the highest level of single-seater, you just have to fill in the form to have a chance to be one of the 8 drivers selected for the 2024 Shoot Out.
Given his long term partnership with Richard Mille, 3 Birel ART / CL Kart drivers will be selected.

The shoot out

Once selected, 8 drivers will participate to the Shoot Out, from October 6th to 7th, on the Jerez circuit (Spain). They will be taken in charge by motorsport professionals such as Formula Medicine for the mental and athletic aspect, and MP Motorsport for the driving aspect.
Those 8 drivers will be judged not only on their driving skills, but also on their motivation, behaviour, application and potential.
At the end of a 2-day evaluation, a jury composed by motorsport professional and Richard Mille representants will select one driver to be part of the 2024 Richard Mille Young Talent Academy.

The prize money

The winning driver will be awarded with a season in the
2025 FIA F4 Spain Championship with the MP Motorsport team.

The prize Includes:
o Complete season with a F4 car with MP Motorsport (assistance, fuel, tyres, logistics)
o 6 Collectives Tests (assistance, fuel, tyres, logistics)
o Racing gears (Underwears, gloves, racing suit and shoes)

– Crash helmet and HANS device
– Insurance
– Damages

Former winner

2024 will be the 7th detection operation for the Richard
Mille Young Talent Academy. This program already
permits to discover 6 young talented drivers, still
competing in single seater series, such as FIA F3.
